A Little Book Quiz...

Order online, at a chain bookstore, or at an independent bookstore?
Mostly chain store, couldn't actually tell you were an independant book store was. And online.
Bookmark or dog-ear?
Iused to dog-ear all the time and it wrecks books, I realise now, so book mark.
Alphabetize by author, or alphabetize by title, or random?
Mostly author but they are everywhere so they're not always in the place they should be!
Keep, throw away, or sell?
Keep of course. I'm constantly nagged about getting rid of some but there is no way i could.
Read with dust jacket or remove it?
Remove it. It annoys me.
Short story or novel?
Novels are much better i think. If the characters are good you get to spend a longer time with them.
Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket?
Harry Potter! I can't stand Lemony Snicket strangely enough.
“It was a dark and stormy night” or “Once upon a time”?
Definatly "it was a dark and stormy night" i like those stories best.
New or used?
I prefer new, the covers look so pretty before they are read, but used is fine.
Buying choice: book reviews, recommendations, or browse?
Browsing! I could spend literally hours in a bookstore but i decided to read Twilight after a friend recommended it because i thought it look crap. But it really wasnt. Reviews have also helped me find good books too though.
Tidy ending or cliffhanger?
I like both, but they are a little unsatisfactory. Something between the middle of the two is best.
Morning reading, afternoon reading, or nighttime reading?
All day reading if possible but if not afternoon and night.
Stand-alone or series?
Stand-alones. Series are good, but sometimes they can drag and detract from the good books of the series. A good-stand-alone is best.
Favorite series?
I would have to say Twilight even though i know the reactions this might get.
Favorite children’s book?
The Secret Garden. I love this quite simply.
Favorite YA book?
New Moon or Lets Get Lost
Favorite books read last year?
Twilight Saga, Uglies Series, Pretty Things and loads others too.
What are you reading right now?
The Host.
What are you reading next?
Not sure but it will most probaly be Parasite Positive (or Peeps) by Scott Westerfeld.

Twilight:Directors Notebook

Twilight:Directors Notebook

Catherine Hardwicke

Rating-5/5

Times Read-1

Read Again-Yes

The book is filled with orginal pictures, sketches and ideas from the director of the film Catherine Hardwicke.

It is for anybody that really likes the film and the books and would like to know what went into making the film that we watch on our screens.

I really enjoyed reading this, I thought that it was really good and well put together.

My favourite parts would have to be the pages about each characters costumes and how they were put together. The other being the pages about the music of the film, especially because the music supervisor Alex Patsavas also does the music for gossip girl, one of my favourite shows.

This is interesting for any fan of Bella and Edward, to see just how their characters were brought alive on screen by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
I only bought this a few hours ago and have already finished it, so it isnt hard to read and though its not exactly a proper book, it is good.
